2019 Program

Bones of Our Community June 24th-30th, 2019

Dear Friends,

About this time each year, glimmers of the New Mexico dessert begin appearing in my dreams. My feet begin to ache to walk the beautiful red earth and my heart yearns for the WUULF community to come together once again. Thankfully, we are only 4 short months away from all of that happening! WUULF this year will be on June 24th-30th and registration will be open until May 23rd. To register, please visit www.reg.wuulf.org!

This year, we are so excited to feature not one, but two UU ministers! For our main program, we are excited to have Sean Neil-Barron from Foothills Unitarian presenting on the forging of our Unitarian Universalist Faith. For our community minister, Kim Mason from Jefferson Unitarian Church, will be joining us to help us come together each morning and create a communal space! Throughout the entire week, we will explore our faith, build an incredible community, and discover what makes up the Bones of Our Community.

We have a couple of changes to the pricing structure this year. Ghost Ranch has changed the way that they bill us and our structure now reflects that. Now, when you go to register, you will just need to purchase the number of rooms that you would like, rather than paying for a room for each person you register. With this change, however, you do need to purchase meals for each person that would like to have meals for the week. I understand that this change may be a bit confusing for some of our old timers, so if you have any questions, please give me a call at (719)482-8435 and I am happy to help walk you through the changes.

Additionally, the program expenses have increased slightly for WUULF. This is due to some of the increasing costs from Ghost Ranch as well as a greater cost of doing business. The increase of $30 for the WUULF program reflects this.

As always, WUULF should be accessible to every person and family who wants to attend. If any of these pricing changes become a burden, please visit our Scholarship Page on our website. The scholarship program reduces the WUULF program cost in exchange for some additional volunteer time.
We are so excited to see you at WUULF and as always, please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Best,

Grant Stump
